My name is Pavel Bačovský (PhD, University of Colorado Boulder) and I am the Assistant Director of Student Success at the University of Rhode Island.
In my research I explore how emerging technologies shape political behavior, focusing on the US and OECD countries. My research examines how children and teens—especially heavy users of digital media—develop political attitudes, engage with parties, and understand concepts like democracy and freedom. I’m also intrigued by the intersection of politics, leisure, and political psychology..
